C'era Una Volta - South Elgin

This family business is our new favorite restaurant. We had a birthday party there last week with 23 family members and we received amazing service and delicious homemade food, trust me because I race and born in Italy I know how genuine authentic foods must taste. Seafood very tasty and fresh large compliment goes to the chef and the servers very attentive was the place very busy and although we were served on time, I loved the lobster Ravioli and my wife loved the linguins seafood. All my guest was in love with this little place. We're definitely back. RECOMMEND ITALIAN FOOD.

This relatively new restaurant, whose name I believe translates to "a time," is an intimate Italian eatery that brings a refreshing vibe to the area. It appears to be a family-run establishment, and the warm, familial treatment you receive is evident. Just a few visits were enough to convince me of the high quality of their food. When I asked my server to pass on my compliments to the chef, he graciously came out on a busy night to thank me personally. If you're looking for a new dining experience, this place is definitely worth a visit.

Absolutely delicious food and a fantastic atmosphere! My mom and I visited on a Sunday night, and our waitress was excellent. The entire staff treated us wonderfully. The Bruschetta was amazing. My mom ordered the Steak salad, and I had the Alfredo, and everything was spot on. We will definitely be back!

The food was excellent, and the service was top-notch. Our waiter, Pete, offered fantastic recommendations. The wine list was quite extensive, featuring a variety of Italian vintages. It was a pleasant surprise to find a restaurant that wasn't just your typical American-Italian establishment. Everything tasted incredibly fresh and homemade, including the desserts.

As I arrived at the restaurant I was greeted by Nick one of the owners I believe. It was a very pleasant experience and the pizzas are just the way we eat them when we are in Sicily our home town. I would recommend anyone that is looking for real Italian food to stop by and try these guy out. Thanks Nick.
