Jewel-osco - South Elgin

Bought a sub made by the deli. Got one bite then threw it out. Hair and unknown particles. I'm reporting to health department for further inspection. That was bad jewel. Never shopping there again

The assistant manager is extremely honest. If you have any questions ask them they will always tell you the truth. The store is clean. People are very nice. 80% of the time you can find what you want. Sometimes people are rude and steal the grocery carts. That's the worst thing that happens there.

Crazy high prices. Double the smaller local grocery store for the exact same products and brands! *Example photos were taken on the same day.

This location is great, friendly staff and very clean store. Got some shrimp today, the associate who helped me was fast and friendly. Good selection of cheese, too!

I recently bought a yogurt parfait from the produce department n they are very good but every single time I get them the strawberries are cut way to big only in half n not in bite size pieces. I always have to cut them in half again. They need to be cut better or otherwise people can choke on them.
