Moon's Donuts - South Gate

This shop is a hidden gem! They open at 4:30 AM, except on Saturdays and Sundays, and always offer incredibly fresh products. Being a family-run business, the service is excellent. What a wonderful experience!

The owner, I believe, is always present bright and early every morning with a cheerful demeanor. She is genuinely friendly and outgoing, always wearing a smile. Her eagerness to please is impressive; she has even gone into the kitchen to prepare custom varieties based on our requests! I think this is partly because it’s so early in the morning (typically around 5:30 a.m.), and the busy crowd hasn’t woken up yet! In our opinion, this place offers the best donuts, service, and overall experience in Southern California!

Without a doubt, this is the best donut shop in the area. The donuts are always fresh and incredibly tasty. The staff at the counter are very friendly. My personal favorite is the glazed blueberry cake donut – it’s absolutely fantastic!

These donuts are the ultimate most delicious and fresh donuts I have tasted in a long time. Please no this is a cash only plthere is an ATM inside if you forgot cash. Very affordable as well.
