Feedback gevenWe have been going here for years and always good but last night I ordered my usual King prawn sweet and sour but when it arrived it was just prawn balls and a separate pot of sauce no pineapple or green pepper as described on the menu which has also changed to a cheap laminated card I also find paying at the table in advance a little odd which was started after the pandemic the others meals were good as usual but also th we rice was plain ? Any egg in it and no peas
I went to this restaurant on a Tuesday night and found the service to be very slow. It took 45 minutes to receive our starter and there was a significant wait for our main course. The food and portions were good, but sitting next to the window in the conservatory made it a bit chilly. Overall, while the food was good and there was a nice selection, the experience was not great. I suspect that staff shortages may have contributed to the issue.
Had a Wednesday evening meal here and the service was very slow 45 mins to get a starter and 30 mins wait after that for main course so over 2 hours to eat. They seem short staffed, the conservatory area where eat can get chilli, they do have radiators but that doesnt really help much if you are sat next to the windows. You have to pay for your food when you order at the table
Ribs cooked perfectly. Sweet and sour balls and crispy chilli beef burnt. Food was quick to be delivered and hot. 3 stars
Really nice, the sweet and sour chicken balls were cooked to perfection, crispy to bite into and tasty succulent chicken on the inside, just wish you got more in the portion! Staff were very friendly and nice as well, would go back :
