There is seating inside our outside at two patio areas. Located at the end of the village commons and across the street from Mt. Holyoke College.
Excellent lunch spot! I got the notch, roast beef sandwich and it was to die for. Service was polite professional and speedy despite quite the lunch rush. A good system for getting through the line and again, excellent food. Great drinks selection, numerous wines, good desserts and iced coffee. Just go.
I was hooked on the Lumberjack, but last time I tried the Roast Beef sandwich with the silly name that I forget but felt really awkward when I had to form the words and speak them out in public, but yeah that sandwich was awesome too. Now I don?t know what to get next time. Friendly fast and clean i should say also.
Who doesn't love a sandwich from Tailgate? This morning I placed a walk-in order for 3 sandwiches for a lunch at my in-law's and although it was busy, my order came out quickly. I ordered the sun-dried tomato sandwich for the first time (the Harvest is my usual go-to) and was soooo impressed. Best mozzarella I've had in a long, long time. The prices are fair for the quality, for sure. $8.00 for a large sandwich and deli pickle isn't bad and the staff is always so pleasant.
I always look forward to getting a sandwich and a cookie from Tailgate Picnic when visiting my daughter at Mount Holyoke. The menu is super vegetarian friendly. My go to is The Orchards: melted Brie, Granny Smith apples, honey mustard and lettuce on a baguette. The home made peanut butter cookies are topped with chunks of peanut butter cups, fresh, and are absolutely delicious. There is seating inside and outside during good weather. The service has been prompt and polite each time I've been. My last visit was during MHC Friends and Family weekend and I was able to get in and out with a relatively short wait. I'll definitely miss visiting Tailgate Picnic when my daughter graduates.
