Avon Mill - South Hams

Possibly worse cakes ever. Soggy pastry on lemon meringue hardly taste lemon and chocolate cake so dry it crumbled and icing tasted of margarine . Really poor

The Avon Mill is a charming restaurant where you can take friends and enjoy lunch in the garden. The food is delicious, the views are stunning, and the plants are thriving with attractive arrangements. The sandwiches are great with a generous side salad.

Great lunches and teas. Excellent service. Reasonably priced and interesting menu. Several gluten free options. Lovely setting in the Avon valley. There is a garden centre and some small independent shops attached.

This restaurant is fantastic! The food is delicious, the staff is friendly, and the decor is beautiful. There are also lovely gift shops onsite and it's dog friendly. Plus, there's a cheeky blackbird helping to clean up the crumbs!

Lovely place to go for coffee/ cake and a slow wander round the cute shops. Plenty of cakes and coffee’s to choose from. It’s then brought to your table, yummy to enjoy. The shop park of the cafe is full if tempting gifts of biscuits and chocolates. We will return and recommend
