Countryman’s Choice - South Hams

I just had a lovely lunch at this restaurant where I had the best time with my two young children. The playground is great for kids of all ages and is conveniently located within sight of the tables. We enjoyed watching the animals and the owner even let the children feed the pigs. The staff was friendly, the food was good, and the playground was perfect for the kids.

My fiancé and I visited this restaurant today, which is a cozy spot with excellent staff. We enjoyed chatting with the young employees working in the butcher area, who were friendly and engaging. We will definitely be returning to this restaurant in the future, as it feels special when the staff acknowledge and appreciate their customers. A rare gem in the retail world today.

This restaurant is a great place to bring kids. They really enjoyed the play area. It can get a bit hectic during school holidays - we noticed a mother camping out with her coffee while the kids ran around. Our little ones were surprised by the chaos. Despite that, we enjoyed our meal. We did have a small issue with one of our dishes, but the staff were very apologetic and made things right. Everyone was very friendly.

Great little form shop and cafe. The deli counter has a good range of cheese, meat and pies.
