Wally's Place Bagel And Deli

Not sure what 's happened to Wally 's but the quality seems to have taken a serious nosedive. The 2 stars issued are for the bagel alone. Our family has stopped in 3x over the past 6 months, each with a poor result. The wait seems excessive for a toasted bagel with butter. And toasted is a term I 'll use loosely. I believe the bagels are simply walked past the toaster. There is a hint of brown? Maybe? The bagel gets wrapped and handed to you but is not even remotely warm. The gobs of butter placed (but not spread) on the bagel never melt and the thickness nearly resembles cream cheese. It simply feels like no effort or care was put into the task. Disappointing as you get into the car and hand kids their bagels to then scrape them to make them edible. Won 't be stopping in again.

Great bagels and their cream cheese mixes are really tasty. I recommend Wally's for breakfast or lunch.

Baked-goods heaven. I got the Back Burner on a bialy: jalapeño VT cheddar, Frank 's hot sauce, egg and sausage. Perfect temperature by the time we reached the ferry.Pro tip: they have oat milk and cold coffee!!! Also, you can call ahead to order which is a good idea on the weekends.

First and last time I'll visit. It was not busy, but we waited 20 minutes for two breakfast sandwiches. Neither bagel was toasted as requested so they were soggy. One sandwich was incorrect. Also witnessed two women wait for 30 minutes before ask the staff about their order and leaving. And the bagels really aren't that great.
