Thom's Turkey Bbq - South Holland

I was pleasantly surprised. I wouldn't describe it as exceptional, but more like typical south side bbq. I bet they use the same suppliers as most other bbq joints as these. And I wouldn't say there was a distinction bbq taste. What I did was the value for what you got. I just paid $11 for a small rib tip and a link. I expected very small because what these joints usually do. But it was a very significant part.

The food is good especially the hot links. I called in my order at 5:01pm, was told give them 30 minutes, I gave them 50. She asked for ticket number, I wasn't given one until I arrived. I believe they didn't start on my order until I paid because we waited an additional 30 minutes.

I was on the hunt for some BBQ since my usual spot is closed, and I’m so glad I found this place. As soon as you walk in, the delicious aromas hit you, and the food absolutely lives up to that enticing scent. The staff is lovely and friendly, which is always a bonus!

What impressed me the most was their response to my feedback. They promptly apologized and offered to replace both meals. When I returned, they showed me the difference in the meat and made sure I was satisfied with my choice. Even the cook came out to check on me, which I really appreciated. The level of customer service was outstanding! The sauce, both mild and hot, was delicious, and the turkey tips had the perfect texture—neither too tender nor too tough—with generous portion sizes. Overall, it was a wonderful experience. This place is definitely my new go-to BBQ spot! #mynewbbqspot

The rib tips here are fantastic and always cooked to perfection! I've been coming to this place for five years now, and when she relocated, I followed. I usually order the buckets, with half sauced and half unsauced. The ribs are delicious and well-seasoned, so they’re great even without sauce. I absolutely love it!
