Daddy's Bread - South Kingstown

Daddy's Bread is still going strong! I almost missed the chance to visit. Their homemade breads and muffins are still delicious as ever. You pay using an honor system (just slide your payment into a slot at the counter), but they now also accept other payment methods like Venmo, Zelle, and PayPal. This time we tried the blueberry apple cinnamon muffin, and it was fantastic! Everything they offer is consistently great. Just keep in mind that they're only open on weekends during the summer. We went on a Wednesday and found them closed. If you see the big open flag out front, it means they’re ready to welcome you in. Make sure to stop by if you're in the area!

Wow! Seriously! My wife couldn't help but exclaim "OMG" loudly after her first bite of the roasted chicken sandwich on Parmesan Dill Garlic bread. If you're in South County and you haven't stopped by this place, you're definitely missing out. Oh, and we just made French toast with their cinnamon raisin bread, and it was the most delicious breakfast I've ever had!

The service here is quite unique, especially with the bread and pastries. Just be careful to check your change, as there’s often no one available in the store. We absolutely love the Parmesan garlic option, and the apple cinnamon is a delightful treat as well.

A real Rhode Island Jem. You work on the honorary systems so you tally up what you buy and fall it into the slot. There are also more technology-friendly options. Move! We recommend the cinnamon balls, honey white bread and PDG. PDG is Parmesean, Dill and Garlic Hat. You can't do it anywhere else. It makes amazing homemade crumbs.

Great bread!! Love the Onion and Chive! Apple and Cinnamon is good too, especially with a good blueberry jam. It's a nice touch to have the honesty system to purchase bread. Try to have small bills. No worries if you don't have exact monies, just make it up next time! Trust is a nice feeling
