Art Of Gelato - South Lake Tahoe

Cold and rainy out, but didn't let that stop me. Entered shopping complex to grab a bite to eat and everyone was walking out with gelato.... Had to try it out for myself. Double scoop with maple butter pecan and strawberry mascarpone. Yum! Very sweet, but that's gelato. $7 for a double scoop.

After an afternoon of being on the lake , wanted something sweet. Bam found the Art of Gelato... after taking a few extra steps. Wasn't busy, so was able to step right in . Asked the worker if I could sample a few choices; he was very friendly . I went with the mascarpone strawberry cheesecake .... It awoken my taste buds: was different , creamy and sweet. One scoop was plenty in a waffle cone. Can't go wrong with Gelato !

I was looking for an ice cream shop in Yelp and found it in a small mall. I went in to try cookies n cream and Banana Dulce de leche. Cookie n cream is delicious, ordinary as usual, but Banana Dulce de leche, I think it's delicious. For me, of course, I have to go back and try another flavor.

Ice is my favorite dessert for holidays, it is the ideal holiday treatment! The sea salt caramel here is the best I ever had and it reminded me of the traditional Bengali sweet, nolen gurer sandesh. This dessert, which is served here, brought me childish joy.
