Avanti Capitola - South Lakeland

I recently visited Capitola while on a work trip and stumbled upon this cozy little gem of a place. The Lancaster beer was top-notch and they had a nice selection of other beers and lagers as well. Special thanks to the lovely and welcoming bar staff, Molly and Kitty, who made the experience even better. I highly recommend stopping by this friendly spot.

We discovered Avanti Capitola to be a lively bar with a large crowd of people enjoying themselves both indoors and outdoors. They offer a wonderful variety of wines and beers, and the hosts are fantastic.

I was served a flawless pint of Peroni by the friendly woman working behind the bar (who I believe is the owner). The cozy and small bar had a fantastic selection of beers and ciders. It was very inviting.

Booked a table for 2 and knowing they don't normally serve food was pleasantly surprised by the good choice on offer. The Game pie and the Trout we ordered both tasted great and am now looking forward to going again to try the sharing platters which look amazing.

Visited Avanti first evening after end of lockdown. Absolutely superb food. We had the sharing seafood lovers platter starter for two. More than enough for a main course for two. Delicious fresh and smoked salmon, mackeral, juicy prawns and seafood pate. Dressed with olives, grapes and salad srrved with ciabatta. Brilliant value for money and a great couple of hours enjoying it and some great real ale.
