Charlie's Cafe - South Lakeland

The cappuccinos here are the best in Kendal.The service is always friendly and welcoming.We had tray bakes and a vanilla slice this time which are delicious.The last time I came I had a breakfast muffin( black pudding and bacon) .The food was lovely , crispy bacon and good black pudding.

Charlie’s was always a destination of choice for the outstanding all day breakfast, but unfortunately it’s not what it used to be since the changes in the kitchen.

I was recommended this cafe by the owners of the guest house I was staying at in Keswick. I have to say, it is a fantastic place with a great menu and very helpful staff. If you're ever in the area, be sure to give it a try - you won't be disappointed.

Looked a bit scruffy at the end of the street. Why you should never judge, good options from breakfasts, rarebit, liver and onions, salads and soup of the day. As well as great cakes and great goregous staff. Gem at the end of the street.

Historical building , v ery nice cafe, lots of home made cakes and bakes . Specials each day . I had the breakfast muffin , very tasty . Plenty of space inside , I think it is very popular for mothers with push chairs as there is plenty of room . We sat in the garden seating area. Will defiantly go again
