The Ship Inn - South Lakeland

In the late afternoon here in the sun. large selection of drinks at the bar and nice eating when we decided to dinate. a limited menu, but served by polite and busy servers. worth visiting if they are in the opposite.

I'm here 25 years ago. on Thursday sat with my oldest son, (there has not changed too much of what I remember) the eating was great, the staff all beautiful and very helpful! great out view.

The place was really busy with drinking people and eating. nice and warm, good buzz over the place and the staff were really friendly and helpful. we just wanted to drink, but we ordered a sharing plate. we have a place in the window with view of the lake. highly recommended. Eating was 5 stars and only took about 20 minutes to arrive after our order. a pint of the lager was about £6ish and the sharing plate was £17, but we were suitable for the location.

Pleasantly surprised. the beer was good, eating was excellent and the service was fast and efficient. we're coming back. we found a seat outside with view of all the boats at the side of the lake. that is very good and our visit went without a luke. the excellent meals included a fish and chips, a sea bass, a lasagne and a sirloin steak. I said pleasantly surprised at the beginning because first impressions were not brilliant. the first two employees we talked with were quite abrupt when we entered and I felt a bit inconvenient. but at the end everything is good!

Great view and food! I would have liked a few more options on the menu but still ok! Very friendly staff!
