My husband and I randomly found Chef Jeff's for Sunday lunch and we are so glad we did. The mac and cheese was delicious and the smashed avocado with poached eggs and hollandaise sauce was very tasty. Definitely worth a visit.
We went for lunch and were extremely disappointed. They did not have any diet drinks available, so we had to settle for drinking the stale water on the table. The atmosphere was cold and lacked any warmth. The food took a while to arrive and when it did, it was lukewarm. They did not offer any extra parmesan or black pepper for the pasta. We also found a dirty teaspoon left on our table. The service was subpar. We will not be returning as we were very disappointed.
These premises are no longer open. There is a notice in the window that it is re-opening as a coffee shop. Opening Date is unknown It will not trade as Shef Jefs
This cafe looks promising but has become erratic re whether open and has staff serving which while polite have no ability to convey enthusiasm or contribute to a pleasant atmosphere. I am always keen to try a new cafe and have eaten good and healthy lunch snacks here but also had a scone which had the taste and texture of a brick- I suspect the home baking is of similar quality. The owner seems to have talked a good game on opening but in subsequent months it has just failed to fly. I note most recent reviews are not impressed either and frankly Im surprised this place is still trading.
