Cornhill House Bistro

The castle and its interior are stunning, but unfortunately, the food and service cost this restaurant 2 stars. The vegan options are limited and basic, while my partner's meat dish was flavorless and overcooked. The staff is friendly, however, the service is slow and inattentive. We had to ask for things multiple times and there was a mix-up where one of our side dishes was given to another table. The waiter eventually voided the dish from our bill without acknowledging the mistake.

Megan checked us in and she was the friendliest receptionist we have ever encountered. She made us feel very welcome and even walked us to our lodge to give us a detailed explanation of everything. We are extremely happy with the service provided and the lodge itself is beautiful. Thank you so much! The room is fantastic, clean, and comfortable. We rate the rooms and service both a 5 out of 5.
