La Vigna - South Lanarkshire

Visited on hogmany for a meal with a friend before going out. Thoroughly enjoyed it ravioli was the best I’ve tasted. Service is excellent staff are so nice and the decor is lovely. A hidden gem in Lanark will absolutley be back.

Another excellent lunch today (12/12/23) at La Vigna. A truly hidden gem here in Lanark, providing the highest standard of cooking and service in the area.

Travelling through stopped overnight to visit New Lanark. Booked here because of good reviews. It did not disappoint. Both food and service were excellent. Decor and ambiance also great despite being quiet possibly because of the heat wave. We had a really lovely evening. Better than many places we have eaten in in Italy.

We had an incredible dining experience with our two fathers, who were visiting us for the weekend. We moved to the area only a year ago, but this was undoubtedly the finest Italian meal we have ever had. From the excellent service upon arrival, to the meticulous attention to detail throughout the courses, and of course the spectacular food, everything was top-notch.

Visiting our son working in Lanark this weekend and to celebrate his birthday , I checked trip advisor for where to eat and we chose this Italian restaurant. We had travelled from Lancashire and hence didn’t know Lanack. Wow. What a find. It was such a magical, relaxing and exquisite experience. I personally find it difficult to truly relax in public, but everything about this restaurant was designed for our well being, the quality of food , ambience of the surroundings and attentive staff. What a wonderful and memorable experience . Thank you x
