Bedi's - South Melbourne

I agreed to pick up my order because I had ordered the Entree Plate. I was excited to try this dish, but if the restaurant has a minimum purchase policy, they should make it more transparent. I will not be ordering from here again.

Having tried Indian cuisine in various restaurants in Australia and abroad, I can confidently say that this establishment is the best and most reliable. I have been ordering lunch for my team in South Melbourne every day and the food is consistently excellent. The owner is incredibly friendly and always willing to go out of his way to assist us. I highly recommend trying this restaurant - you will not be disappointed!

I have been dining at Bedi for 30 years and even though there is new management now, the food is still amazing. The lentil soup has the perfect amount of spice, the papadums are crispy without being greasy, and the naan is heavenly. Bedi continues to be a fantastic choice for Indian cuisine in Melbourne.

We have recently enjoyed a jubilee 30 years of bedi’s! our family enjoyed the hospitality of bedi and rita since 30 years ago in the south melbourne area. take on a Friday night or visit in their picturesque, unforeseen restaurant. is one of our family traditions and what is better to celebrate than our usual order ... chicken butter cream, sweet malai kofta, prawn malai, saffron rice and naans (karlic and kashmiri.) thanks bedi and rita! they are a south melbourne institution that should both be preserved forever!

After many years away from Melbourne my wife and I caught up at Bedi's Indian Restaurant with some friends and colleagues I used to work with in the late 80's. We had used this restaurant regularly during my time in Melbourne and pleased to say...the quality of the food is still extremely good. They provide a wide range of different types of Indian cuisine with good quantities of food supplied and the service is excellent. Mr Bedi has been running this business for over 30 years and he still maintains a very high standard of quality. Thoroughly recommend a visit
