Marko - South Melbourne

Great experience. we had the classic mezze, the mais ribs and some mosque tails. definitiw will come back

My boyfriend and I went to Marko for dinner last night and not only was the food amazing but the team serving us were so welcoming. After being extremely impressed with the dinner service at Marko we had to return to try the lunch menu.. and again we were overwhelmingly impressed with the food served. The burgers were amazing and the sides were flavoursome and crispy. If I could give this place a 6 out of 5 I would. PS: Although lunch is top notch I’d highly recommend the dinner Set Menu for anyone wanting to try this restaurant it was absolutely masterful and possibly the best vegan food I’ve had in Melbourne. I had a Falafel Pita and it was really tasty. I must confess that I was expecting it was a little bit bigger but its alright.

The staff service was friendly and brought calming vibrations. The house made beet root and lentil patty in the plant-based cheese burger was a pinnacle touch and I dare say the highlight of this burger. The cheese looked American (not sure what I mean) and had a really nice melting point from the heat of Patty. Taking into account the taste and quality of the burger, for its size, it reminded me of the plastic bag Burger Lollies chewie would I get from the old Halloween nights chubby.
