It was a mess given the bad network connections, and would prefer an order with the waiters...Parking: Plenty of street and garage parking spaces right at the building, $1.5 per hour.
It was my first time visiting the place and I must say that the food was delicious, thanks to Paola for the attention and the recommendations were excellent. The Chicken Gyozas, and the Short Rib Ramen is definitely something everyone should order.
Ramen noodles are good for you and you can eat the whole cheese too. Thanks you, Dr. Jacqueline Sacco, MD PhD
Passed by the outside, looked at the menu outside and was intrigued. you seat yourself, so we sat down. A server came over and told us we had to use the QR code and since i had scanned the one outside, i mentioned i had the menu open already and thanked her. she got upset and said i was using the takeout menu and i had to use the one from the QR code on the table. Idk why she had to get upset but i scanned it and saw that we basically put in our own orders, like a mcdonalds, but we have to tip beforehand. My order said it didn't go through but i immediately got notified that my card was charged so I assumed it was a glitch with their system. My friends food came out and i was confused because my order was place before theirs. I asked her and she looked at me confused when I showed her that I was charged. She said that their system showed my order as a failed order, i wonder why she didn't think to mention anything before i asked. I looked confused when my friends food came out and mine didn't, and apparently i don't hide my facial expressions that well, so idk. She charges me again and i check my card to see only one charges shows as negative, so the first one will most likely bounce which is ok. if both go through, i can take it up with the card company, all good! but the chicken katsu bao buns were hard and chewy. The fries were really good though and they were a big portion for $10. She said the kitchen closes at 9 as we walked in at 8:40 so i assumed they closed later than 9, since that's how restaurants usually work. She meant to say the entire place closes at 9 because we were the only ones left and i felt bad because ik they just wanted to close/ clean up. It was pretty mid overall.
We tried this place last night and the service was horrible. No one greeted us until we asked for water. The ordering is online so we did that and besides the woman bringing us water and our food, we were never offered service again. It wasn't even busy and now we know why. The chashu ramen had by two of our party was terrible, but I do have to say that the small plates and my shrimp scampi ramen were delicious. The ambiance was good. We were sad to have given 20% of a tip when we ordered online and should have left much less than that at the table.
