Woodton Kings Head - South Norfolk

We were recommended to try this pub for a meal but were disappointed with our experience. The Southern fried chicken was not what we expected - it seemed to be processed and coated with spicy breadcrumbs. My friend ordered the lasagne and found it to be subpar compared to what she has had from other places. Overall, we were not impressed and do not plan on returning.

We ordered two steak and ale pies which were delicious as was the syrup sponge and ice cream dessert. The staff were really helpful and pleasant which made our lunch very enjoyable. Will visit next time that we are in the area.

Six members of our family gathered at the Woodton Kings Head and sat in their beautiful garden, basking in the sunshine while enjoying a pre-lunch drink. Afterwards, we headed inside the pub for our scheduled meal. The pub is welcoming to dogs, but only in the bar area, which was not a problem for us. The carvery was delicious with ample portions to satisfy our appetites. Thank you to David B for a wonderful dining experience.

Had wake here last week although plenty of food not that exiting only shop bought quiche spring rolls sausage rolls few sandwiches , would not recommend for Quality or variety given cost .....
