Frank's Hamburger House

Can’t say I’m surprised as they only opened a couple of days a week before they closed the doors for the last time.Real shame,as the meals I’d had there were always good.

Visited for sons 20th birthday all ordered the same meal : classic burgers, onions rings and banana splits. The burger buns were saturated in pickled beetroot juice, were oily and sloppy, the onion rings were utterly disgusting absolutely no seasoning what so ever and coated in ridiculous amounts of raw dough, the desserts.... appeared to be created by 3 year olds comprising of a banana, what looked like a whole can of cheap whipped cream thrown from a height and 4 kilos of rank sprinkles. But the cherry on the top...... All of us were violently ill throughout the night and the following 5 days after. NEVER AGAIN WILL WE VISIT THIS APPALLING ESTABLISHMENT!!

Absolutely Appalling !! From the 55 minute wait for starters to arrive then watching the mains come out with the starters at that time wasn’t aware they belonged to us then left on the hatch for 35 mins just sat there getting cold mains arrive wilted plates untouchable as soo hot as been reheated new waitress could hardly carry them. No manager to speak to and when questioned is that reheated food the kitchen staff said yes and smirked. The waiter wasn’t bothered sent the new young lady out to front a lie and basically laughed in our faces with phrases like “have a nice night sir” 9 years of being a customer and the “usual “ crew go above and beyond. Even the starter of wings was tasteless and disappointing and they are usually the main reason we visit !!

We waited for an hour before our food was served, despite the restaurant not being busy. The beef rib was tough and fatty, even a steak knife couldn't cut through it. The Seoul chicken wings were dry and had a burnt marmite taste. The chips were not crispy and the onion rings, although they looked great, lacked seasoning in the batter. We used to enjoy dining here, but the quality has drastically declined. We will not be coming back and recommend trying other dining options in the area.

The craft burger, fries, and onion rings at this restaurant were perfectly cooked and excellent. They had a good selection of hot sauces to choose from. I decided to go with a beef burger topped with bacon, along with seasoned fries and onion rings.
