The Fox At Farthinghoe

We had Saturday lunch , food was hot and tasty , throughly recommend the Mediterranean tart as mains and lotus cheesecake for desert!

Ordered a plain burger and chips. Food arrived and burger was full of stuff i dont like, so asked for it to be changed.. What i thought was a fresh burger, turned out to be the original with everything scraped out.. but it still had mayo on the burger and sauce on the roll which tasted horrible.. Not good service..

We met another couple for lunch, having selected The Fox from an old Good Pub Guide. Not an altogether happy experience. The two beer drinkers were not happy with their choice, nor were the two scampi eaters. My chilli wasn't good, not very hot and no sour cream available. My husband had no complaints about the fish and chips, which he pronounced very good. Puddings were fine, and the service friendly and efficient.

Me and my friend spent the whole day in here on Saturday and stayed for lunch and dinner. The staff were really hospitable and friendly. I ordered off the tapas menu for lunch and the main menu for dinner and the food was amazing. There were also games like Jenga you can play whilst you’re there. Would definitely recommend

The tapas were luke warm, not a good choice. Garlic bread was soggy not crispy. Waitress not sure she had enough milk for coffees, which when they arrived were not very good. Slow service.
