Gil's Cafe - South Park Township

From the time we walked through the door, till we were ready to leave , the folks that worked at Gil's made you feel like you were old friends. It is a good place to have a group gathering as it has plenty of parking and space inside. I had a side dish of pasta and the spaghetti sauce was very good. You could tell it was not out of a can sauce. The main meal was also very good. We will be going back. Wheelchair accessibility: Have a ramp to the entrance. I live right down the street so I tried to stop in on my way home from work for some food and a drink. Never again. I Literally sat right in front of the waitress for 6 minutes before she even acknowledged me. Once acknowledged it took another 4 minutes to get my drinks, another 10 minutes to get a menu, and I was one of 10 people in the whole restaurant! Not once in the 45 minutes that I was there did either of the 2 waitresses ask me how my food was or check if I needed refills. I had to ask for refills and my check. I sat right in front of the register that both waitresses went to a dozen times during my stay. The food was decent but the service was comically horrendous.
