Papa John's - South Ribble

There are hygiene concerns at this Papa John's location. The staff making the pizzas do not wear gloves and are handling dough by hand. They also handle money at the cash register before moving on to handle dough without washing their hands. It is unclear if the staff wash their hands after using the toilet. All staff should be washing their hands and wearing gloves.

We have ordered pizza from Papa John's multiple times since it opened, and the quality of both the pizzas and service has been consistently excellent. We usually order online and the pizzas are ready for collection very quickly, even during busy hours. They have a great selection of vegan options and the pizzas are delicious.

I ordered a pizza and was overcharged (the menu said £13.99 but I was charged £14.70 with no extras added). I was told it would be ready in 20 minutes, but after waiting 40 minutes I went up to ask about my order. I found out that it had just been sitting on the side in the kitchen. All other orders were called out, but mine was overlooked for some reason, even though I was sitting directly across from the counter. Overall, it was a disappointing experience.

Every time we stay at Ribby Hall many, many times. we have a problem with this Pizza place. They won 't allow you to order in advance for collection, then when you go to order (i.e. after a swim session with two very hungry children), they say they can 't take any more orders as the ovens are backed up!!! We end up buying our pizzas from Aldi up the road, or the Spar shop on site and cooking them ourselves...... This company badly lets down Ribby Hall, which is sad, as we enjoy our local Papa Johns, in Manchester. You need to look at how you manage this facility as clearly there are lots of visitors to accommodate on a weekend I would suggest Ribby Hall management find another area on their site to rent to another Pizza company as 'competition ' might inspire Papa John 's to get their act together.

Visit here quite often , The manager is awful but there is one member of staff that every time i have visited goes above and beyond his name is Alfie everytime i visit he is very polite and treats you exactly how customers should be treated the manager a blonde lady is very rude with no people skills whatsoever
