Ross Code Lounge - South Richmond Hill

If I could give this place a zero rating, I definitely would. We had an extremely unpleasant experience here. The staff was rude, pushy, provided unacceptable customer service, and the manager was absolutely terrible. Just a minute after we walked in, 4 or 5 waiters came over to ask if we wanted drinks. We told them we needed a few minutes to decide, but then another person and another person came over and asked the same question. They seated us, but when some of us went to the restroom, our friends at the table were moved to a much smaller table without notice. They were even asked to order drinks before we were given a menu. After being moved to the smaller table, a third waitress came over and asked the same question. This all happened within 10 minutes of us arriving. The manager then pressured us to order drinks quickly. I highly recommend avoiding this place at all costs.

Came here on a Friday, vibe was good. Given the area this place is decent. Music was good, hookah was good, and the women serving were very nice. Only drawback is that the bouncers get kind of aggressive, but again it goes back to my original point about the area so I understand why they have to take precautions.

Too much Indian music. They rarely mix the music for everyone. They play a few good soca and dancehall songs then they cut it and go straight back to Indian music. Nothing is wrong with Indian music but it’s 99% that and 1% other. It is just too much and it kills the entire vibe of the party.

Hooka was great. the manager and the staff were disastrous. the music was filthy when they played music, we were able to dance on it, was shut down 5 seconds later. back to the evil holdings, one of the waitress came to our table snoring full of drinks, catching an employment because we told her we were not done. u better go to kiss or underground

Two times, both of them had a good experience. the first time I went after work on a Wednesday, ordered the henny mojito pitcher (got a free hook with the purchase,) shrimp tacos and the code board. everything was great. the staff was great and helpful. there was also a live DJ. second time I went with my friends on a Saturday night, vibes was nice, but the music could have been better. but I would still recommend.
