The Garden Club - South San Francisco

We had a very nice birthday dinner on a rainy Tuesday night. We ate wonderful comfort food. Sandy was awesome and made us feel so welcome. The Garden club is a North Peninsula treasure. We will definitely be back.

This is a great little restaurant, that I love to support. It is certainly an unlikely destination given its location and age. But I love to support local businesses, especially restaurants that have been in families for generations. While it is nothing fancy, the food does not disappoint. Everything is delicious and prepared to order. I found the service to be good, attentive, but not overbearing. When I’m in the area I love to stop in and my favorite is the salmon salad. There’s plenty here for everybody. I’m very limited on what I can eat, but in a recent visit with a large group everybody seemed to especially enjoy the prime rib.

The food was excellent, great staff and service. Can't wait to go back and try their alcoholic drinks . They also have daily specials. The dinner menu is awesomely scrumptious . Love this place

Sole fish here is pretty damn good. Friendly staff and funny bartender who was awesome.
