Service was bad. Had gone to the Landings location a few days prior and service there was LOUSY. Thought maybe a fluke however it was not food here either. Food can be the best ever but when service is lacking it drives business away. For the amount you pay service should be attentive and thorough, it was not.

Great drinks and food! Went here with a group of 10 people. The chef was great and the service was ok. There was also a cool little Coi pond when you walk in.

Very entertaining and a fun night out... food was good ... service was good... we'll definitely go again... Vegetarian options: I follow a plant based diet.. so I just ordered all the vegetables.. Parking: shopping center paking.. endless spaces Kid-friendliness: we saw several kids with families... Wheelchair accessibility: tables are set up for wheelchair accessibility

The last time I was there was to celebrate a birthday. The food just didn’t taste the same. I was overcharged and most likely won’t be back.

Here is my full review of Daruma which is located in north sarasota. After we arrived, I noticed there were lots of people here. Good sign in my opinion. There was plenty of room to move and we were seated right away and greeted by our waiter who was very pleasant and hospitable. I ordered my drink and enjoyed the live music pianist. It was our cooks birthday and I knew this because I came with friends who knew him and some of his family were present as well at my table. He introduced himself and he was very professional and polite and I'll say this. He was a great comedian as well and he kept our attention the entire time. While he confirmed our choice of food he began to cook. It was like magic. He was a pro for sure. I've never seen anything like it. He was the best hibachi cook I've ever seen. He was a real ninja cook and super funny. The food was the best it could be and I enjoyed every minute of the show. There was so much food that I had to taken some.home. thanks to Pandu for the best experience I've ever had at a restraunt... hands down. I would go back there even if I wasn't hungry just to watch and laugh because the man was hilarious and professional at the same damn time! Panda is a major asset to daruma. Thanks fir having amazing model employee. You should be beyond proud.
