Lovely service from the lady owner, had cake and coffee to finish and the end price is unbelievable. So cheap but the quality is amazing! Definitely recommend!
Head from south to north Cadbury to find this gem. Beautiful tasty home cooked food. Relaxed and interesting interior of old chapel
Rose is a welcoming owner to this atmospheric 12th Century tiny Chapel which was probably used as a resting place for pilgrims on their way to Glastonbury. I had roasted baby tomato soup with celery bread, more like a scone dough absolutely delicious. The Bakewell Tart and Almond Croissants were also delicious. They make speciality breads to order. Look it up on Facebook for opening times. It's between South Cadbury and North Cadbury. I'll certainly be visiting again.
Popped in here for a light bite and now want to go back. We had home made tea cakes cake. We all thought it was delicious. The coffee was very nice too. The land has chickens roaming freely, for bits, and goats behind and alongside the tea room. You can see the industrious garden from the outside seating area. We didn 't get to see the inside much, so shall have to come back for that alone. The owner is extremely pleasant and very accommodating. Thank you for our food and your time. Both were lovely. Final question Would I return? As soon as possible. Am trying to arrange to be there for brunch or afternoon high tea en route to somewhere else.
We have known about this place for ages but at last nipped in. What a treat it was. It is very quirky if that's the right word, a converted chapel that is also like a home and a place to collect totally random items. We got there quite late as it was a last minute thing so the menu was limited, far enough that's are fault, so I plumpt for a coffee and bowl of roasted cherry tomatoe soup. Blimey this blows you away, nothing like I was expecting, it was delicious you could taste so many flavours in there. It was thick but light and just fantastic. It came with a great big slab of fresh bread with a sun dried tomatoe and oils. This place is a little gem, the staff are great, the place quirky but really welcoming. They have lots of bits and bats for small children to play with if needed. We are lucky as we have a voucher from a friend so can go back soon but if you have to pay the prices are great, my soup and bread was £4, you don't get that often. Really recommend it if your on the A303, thank you for a lovely afternoon.
