Feedback gevenBooked for dinner but on arrival, they thought we had booked for buffet, fortunately they had a table for us within a short time so we had a pre-dinner drink in the bar, which is fabulous and then went for a lovely meal in the Bistro, it is a small and intimate restaurant and quite modern and food is served on hot rocks, which you cook yourself to your own taste. Nice concept and food was really lovely BUT find that it gets pretty smoky when it is very busy. This is not a unique concept to us and it was a very nice change. Service was attentive and good and wine selection is great. Little pub at the Langport Arms is friendly and wonderful for pre or post drinks too.
I visited The Langport Arms on the 20th September, in a party of six, we booked the 'La Roche ' Restaurant, the food was superb and wonderfully presented, the staff and owners were brilliant they made our night special. I can honestly say this was one of the best meals I have ever had and would highly recommend this restaurant.
Excellent black Rock steak. Good, quick service and friendly waiting staff. The bistro is small and was full on a Thursday night, so would definitely recommend advance booking. The only downside was a limited dessert selection (choice of 3) and felt like we were holding up the staff waiting to leave by 10pm. Would definitely revisit.
A lovely restaurant behind the Langport Arms a real hidden gem! Had a lovely steak and partner had lamb both cooked on the rocks, all very reasonable and staff lovely. Will definitely be returning.
Visited some time ago but the visit was well worth it. You cook your own meal on hot stones. Main protein is your choice to cook for as long on the hot atones as you wish. Accompaniments excellent
