What a fantastic Sunday Lunch! The best cauliflower cheese in the area by far. They have a beautiful new function room that's been redecorated and refurbished, as well as a new selection of great spirits and ales! Highly recommended.

We took our niece, from Spain to the Crown to show her a traditional Country Pub. We were not disappointed. The steak was bang on and cooked to perfection and the fish and chips were to die for. A well recommended pub to visit for food and drink.

Had a fantastic Sunday lunch on 11th of Feb at this super village pub. Really friendly welcome and service from the bar staff plus the chef who popped out from time to time from the kitchen to check in on the dinners. I had the nut roast (which was delicious! and on the table we also had the roast pork and roast chicken all cooked to perfection. Nice selection of deserts (sticky toffee pudding !!! and plenty of happy clientele made for a perfect Sunday afternoon! Will visit again soon. A great selection of beers and wine's and great to see the support given to local cider producers and breweries alongside the more traditional pub names.

Friendly welcome and lovely relaxed atmosphere. Superb Sunday lunch generous portions and nice that the choice of meats varies too! Would highly recommend.
