It's usually my go-to dish, and this evening I was pleased to see slices of baby corn and bamboo shoots, in addition to the usual carrots and onions. However, it was too salty for my taste. I'm not sure if it was due to excessive soy sauce or over seasoning.
I have dined at this restaurant many times, as it is our local spot, and I have never had any issues until now. Last night, we ordered our usual dishes (Szechuan chicken, crispy beef, special fried rice, and prawn toast) and now we are both regretting it. We have been up all night feeling incredibly unwell; I have experienced vomiting, stomach upset, stomach pains, and hot and cold flashes. Meanwhile, my partner is still feeling very sick in bed. I truly hope no one else is feeling as terrible as we are today, and I hope this was just a one-time mistake rather than an ongoing problem. Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions.
Been using Ken's take away for over 25 years and always been excellent
A legend: This is the best Chinese takeout I have ever had. Truly exceptional.
We stopped reading this takeaway a few years ago after reading a series of critical reviews after a change of own. recently we have a change of our regular Indian takeaway and decided to give him another attempt, and we were very glad that we did. it seems to have changed again peculiarities shortly after we stopped with him and we can only say it is now excellent! delicious food and much of it! we expect to be regular customers.
