The White Hart - South Staffordshire

I had a fantastic evening at this restaurant. I can't thank Chloe enough for making me feel so welcome. I will definitely be back again.

My husband and I visited the village this weekend and decided to stop by this pub for a quiet drink on early Saturday afternoon. Our first impressions were positive as the place was clean and tidy. The young girl behind the bar who served us was very friendly and accommodating. However, after a short while, a regular customer on the other side of the pub with two other males began getting louder and louder, discussing drugs and even going outside to collect them at one point. She was rude to the young girl behind the bar, making us feel uncomfortable and unable to enjoy our drinks. We felt the need to leave due to this behavior, which we found disgraceful and unfortunate.

I live in Stone, but my family is from Penkridge. We attempted to dine at a restaurant there, but were disappointed to find that they were not serving food. We ended up going to The Boat instead, and I am happy to say that it was a delightful experience!

Having just received a full makeover this pub now looks amazing! With a roaring fire on the lounge side and a great atmosphere on the bar side this pub simply can't go wrong. It no longer serves food but they allow you to bring your own food into the pub. 10/10

We called in to book a table but the were only serving soft drinks and no food. No beer till full reopening the next day. 11th June. Disappointed as we had checked on reviews, only to find out they don't do food now
