I collected an order of 24 cupcakes from Helen at Windmill Bakery on Friday for my son's graduation. Not only were they incredibly reasonably priced, they were absolutely delicious and looked lovely too! On a whim, whilst there, I picked up a few of the cakes on display in the counter, maltesers and flake cakes, which were hard to resist. I was not disappointed! Again, very reasonable (having been quoted as much as £3 PER CAKE at other places! and tasted delicious! I would have no hesitation recommending this bakery, the queue out the door speaks for itself. Excellent customer service and communication! Thanks again!

Was asked by family last minute to get a surprise birthday cake for my mother's 90th birthday. With only a week to spare...mission impossible. Called in at Windmill Bakery to see if they could help.whilst they were not able to produce a fully decorated iced cake an alternative was offered. I ordered a ten inch toffee cake suitably adorned with birthday inscription. Picked the cake up duly on time. The cake was beautifully presented and tasted even better. Thanks for your help.

Ive used Windmill bakery happily for years but hadnt been in for a while....unfortunately when i did today after several years.I noticed that on ordering 2 meal deals the ladies...went from handling money to going into the kitchen ...putting sthg in the bin touching the swing bin lid then coming back and preparing the cobs without washing hands or more importantly using gloves.... They did use tongs...but pretty useless really as they were handling the bread without gloves or tongs...have these staff even had the correct food safety training?.... I dont highlight bad things easily especially with independent shops but this was out of order and should be remedied immediately....

Once again we had lovely freshly made sandwiches and yummy cakes,my favourite is the viennese salted caramel slices,they melt in your mouth they were all delicious
