Michel's Restaurant - SOUTH TOWNSVILLE

Spur of the moment decision to try Michel's. It is great! The food was beautiful and the atmosphere was lovely. Staff were good. Didn't enjoy the chunks of duck skin in the pasta, or the drunk man at the table beside us having a heated (loud) discussion with his "friend". Would love to try again without the noise!

Excellent restaurant. I can't believe we haven't noticed it before. Sure it is expensive but what you would expect for that kind if dining. The bouillabaisse is great even if it is a bit messy. And the bombe Alaska is certainly not something you see on menues all that often. It's fancy but quite frankly, the chocolate crêpe cake was even better.

We had a table of 8. Two of us had the degustation. Not all courses great with some lacking a little flavour. However overall very good. A standout was the apple and crab cannelloni on watermelon..outtstanding.. The whole table happy with their food. Service very good and wine list good also. Pretty good value for the quality

The seafood bouillabaisse is a winner. Servings are very substantial. Bookings recommended as they are very popular.
