Chip Cabin - South Tyneside

The fish cake and chips were too dry and chewy for my liking. I wish I had chosen to go to Colmans instead. I ended up throwing away most of the food. I would not return to this restaurant.

The chips at this restaurant may not be gourmet, but they are conveniently located near the dodgem cars and the beach. Sit back, enjoy some chips straight from the tray with extra salt and vinegar, and savor the taste of the seaside. We tried the Fish and Chips and while they weren't the best, they were surprisingly decent. The chips were better than the fish. Enjoying them on the outdoor chairs while watching bikers go by with our grandson was a lovely summer experience.

If you prefer your fries to be golden brown, you must visit this fish and chip shop. It is hands down the best in the area. Despite living 6 miles away and being surrounded by other chip shops, I always choose to come to this one.
