Florence Bistro - South Tyneside

After popping in for a quick drink at the weekend, we thought the food smelt lovely so went back this evening for a meal. Our expectations were definitely met. The food looked wonderful and tasted even better. We'll be back.

More beautiful place and nice eating, there were a few problems with missing children's menus and a little management when it came to who waited for the tables, we were asked by three different people if we were ready to order drinks if we had already, but I would rather than ask at all. the place is so clean, and unrecognisable from what it was earlier, beautiful fresh decor and very welcoming. all they need is a bit more time to standardize on their service and my 4 would go back to a 5.

My first visit to this restaurant was a pleasant experience, despite having to walk 2.5 miles in the rain to get there. The Florence chicken and Huh Kiew dishes we ordered were excellent. The service was good and the background music was brilliant. The location was beautiful. I will definitely be returning to try the desserts.

On a recent Sunday, I enjoyed a delicious 3-course lunch at this restaurant. The bruschetta starter was particularly satisfying. The service was top-notch and the portion sizes were generous. The price-to-performance ratio was excellent and there were plenty of options to choose from.
