Piccolo Food House - South Tyneside

I visited Piccolo after reading some great reviews and decided to give it a try. Unsure about what to order, I spoke with the man at the front of the house, who offered me some excellent suggestions. I was really grateful for his help because everything I tried was delicious. The staff genuinely seem to care about what they serve and about their customers as well. The food was served hot and tasted fantastic. I was even allowed to sample a dish before ordering to ensure I was happy with my choice—such a thoughtful touch that I've never experienced before! Well done, Piccolo; you've gained a new loyal customer. I can't wait to explore more of your menu!

I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant, thanks to the genuinely nice owner who takes great pride in his business and the food he serves. When I asked if I could get some garlic sauce on the side, he kindly explained that everything is packed separately. This was perfect for me, as someone who tracks their macros and enjoys healthy eating; it gave me peace of mind about the quality of my meal. Plus, the best part is I didn't have to cook it myself! The owner even brought my order to my car when it was ready. I would rate the service and food a solid 10/10. I plan to return, and the owner recommended trying the kebab and pizza, both of which are made fresh daily. I opted for the chicken kebab, and it was absolutely delicious!

One of the best pizza places in South Shields. The food is consistently high-quality and the staff is friendly and helpful. Prices are comparable to your average pizzeria, but they also offer some great value specialties from time to time. Definitely worth a visit!

My wife and I are here for the first time tonight and the pizzas are up there with the best I had. we will visit 100% again here, beautiful!

Amazing service!!! I placed a order in just eat and added a note that I had a nut allergy. Within five minutes I had a phone call asking about the allergy and just confirming that there were no nuts in what I ordered. He made extra sure that I was ok with this and if I had any problems to ring them. The food was delicious as well. Very impressed
