The Wouldhave - South Tyneside

I recently went to this restaurant with my partner and friends, along with my 5-month-old puppy, after they finished work. There was no indication outside the pub that dogs were not allowed, but just to be cautious, I picked up my dog to walk through the pub to the outside area. As I was walking through, a staff member, who was a larger lady wearing a frilly top and talking to one of the chefs, rudely shouted at me across the pub that I couldn't have my dog in there. Instead of politely informing me that dogs were not allowed inside, she shouted at me. When I asked if my dog was allowed in the outside area, she replied sharply and unsympathetically that she was not. The lady's behavior was atrocious, and if I were her manager, I would be appalled. As a fellow barmaid, allowing staff to speak to customers in such a manner is unacceptable, and I would expect to be reprimanded if I were to treat a customer like that. Absolutely disgraceful.

The food was fantastic, and the staff, despite being very busy, were delightful. Grace and the kitchen staff were constantly working hard to provide such exceptional service and delicious food. Wetherspoons should be commended for having such a great team.

WOULDHAVE...WOULDNOT 4 adults catching up for a few drinks and something to eat should not be that unpleasant. From start to finish the staff front of house were very rude, speaking down to people who pay there wages. Hospitality is a no no in this place, my advice to the staff who we had the not so good pleasure of being served by would be for them to leave and give there jobs to someone who knows how Hospitality works..... Kitchen staff well done food was lovely.

Very friendly service and staff nice cold drinks good food carpark at rear with morrisons. So can do a shop and pop in for a bite

Pizza was horrendous dried out skimped on over cooked rot it looked like a 3 year old had made it won’t bother the next time
