Blue Water Resort - South Yarmouth

Just got back from a mini vacation at Blue Water resort. First time there. Everything was perfect. Check in time was 3:30 but my room was ready at 12:00. The room was super clean and very nice. Actually it exceed my expectations based on the other reviews.Service was 5 stars staff was friendly, competent from the service desk to the dining room to the bar/food outside. Parkingwas ample as they provide extra parking across the street in a large lot. Restaurant food was very good. I had pizza, short ribmozzarella sandwich for lunch, omelettes and breakfast sandwich. Coffee was great hot and strong. Beach sand was super softand clean. The service outside for towels and umbrellas was equally as good as all the other services. My room was on the firstlevel. We stayed just two nights which was plenty for a mini get away. I would go back to the Blue Water in a heart beat.Everything exceeded my expectations and even the weather was terrific! I live in Massachusetts but felt like I was in Florida orPuerto Rico!

Ok this is such a good hotel/resort! so the private beach has free chairs , umbrellas, and beach toys!!! you are able to visit any or all of there other resorts and use the amenities! over all great but the reason I gave 4 stars is the paper for housekeeping does nothing and they don?t come.. you have to call which there isn?t any paper that says that or anything.. when wecalled the lady on the line said they are coming now but they didn?t come for 6-7 hours which is fine. the other part why I gave4 stars is that there?s nothing wrong with the rooms but they are definitely not up to date. they are kinda like a old 70s motelbut a little nicer.. anyways on the comforter there was a stain. and that?s my review of the blue water resort..

My visits to the Cape Cod area are always better when I stay at this hotel. I've been a guest here for over 20 years, and I absolutely love the location. From here, I can relax on the sandy beach and enjoy cycling. I highly recommend this hotel!

We encountered several issues that made us reluctant to stay. The wallpaper was peeling, the sliding door to the balcony was difficult to open, and the balcony floor was so warped that it didn't feel safe for me and my toddler to spend time there. The only positive aspect of this hotel is its location. Having traveled across the country as military personnel and comparing this property to other 3 and 4-star hotels, I can confidently say it was the least appealing. My wife, who suffers from anxiety, was understandably hesitant to confront management about getting a refund due to the poor quality of our room. I requested a refund, but I did not even receive a partial refund since we chose not to stay at all.

I enjoyed a lovely oceanfront stay with stunning views. The beach was exceptionally clean and well-maintained, offering plenty of seating both on the sand and in the beautifully kept garden and patio area. While the hotel itself seemed a bit outdated and had some quirky plumbing issues, my overall experience was fantastic. They had an on-site bar and restaurant, along with daily housekeeping services.
