Pelicans Cafe on the Murray

Stuffed up my order , when I complained that the order was wrong they didn't believe me and started to argue the point . Will not eat there again but one positive the coffee was nice and view of the river . I payed over $75 for three breakfasts and bad service .

Went with 2 grandchildren for lunch today fish and chips. The kids chose drinks from the fridge and I chose a water and went to order and pay. When I asked for 2 kids fish and chips , was told tat a drink came with the kids meal so not to pay for the drinks for the kids. They were very busy and kids impatient and trying to explain that it would take a little longer, but no the meals came quite quickly and oh so delicious! Even the eight year old commented on the beautiful fish and the 9 year old was devouring the perfectly cooked chips before the fish. It was a 10 out of 10. My fish was delicious and chips perfect. Could not fault and what a beautiful setting ! Thankyou !

The squid rings were absolutely delicious, possibly the best we've ever had, even though we are quite older. The setting is beautiful and we kayaked from Coodanup to get here. There is easy docking for the kayaks. This will definitely be our new weekly tradition, weather permitting.

We have been a few times to Pelicans cafe. It is tucked away alongside the Murray River at South Yunderup. Worth the trip. There are tables outside, close to the river. Great views. Lovely watching the boats going by and the wildlife. The fish and chips have been excellent each time. Staff are friendly and the food arrives quickly. On the one occasion it rained while we were there, the umbrellas protected us from the rain and we did not need to retreat indoors. Great place!

I recently enjoyed a delicious meal of fish and chips by the river, and they were the best I've had in a long time. The fish had a light and crispy batter, and the chips were excellent. The staff was friendly and attentive. Overall, I would give this experience a perfect 10/10.
