Honestly, I was unsure if this restaurant was even open for business. I entered, waited for 30 minutes, and then left. During that time, I observed a couple waiting for a takeout order and another couple seated at a nearby table. However, there was no activity or service from the restaurant. No one took any orders or provided me with a menu. The restaurant is situated in a less desirable part of town, surrounded by other unappealing eateries. It is a shame that this is the only Nigerian restaurant in the area, as they should be taking advantage of the lack of competition. I wish the owners success in their business, but I do not plan to return.

I ordered a takeaway at the very end of the UK 's third pandemic lockdown (May 2021 and the food was spotlessly clean, well presented (if simple , piping hot and tasted really good. I would urge some caution with the menu since it is very obviously southern Nigerian (at a push West African which is quite distinct from many other parts of Africa (for example Ethiopian, Angolan, Kenyan cuisine to name a few . My only minor issues were that the Jollof rice was a little over cooked. The service is well intentioned too as in within a couple of minutes of my placing my order (via just eat website and the chef phoned me up to inform me one of side dishes i had ordered was not available. All in all it was a really interesting experience with a very different (Nigerian/West African cuisine with different flavours and tastes, if simple. The dough balls were really good as was the fufu and pounded cassava

I am disgusted by the produce I received from this restaurant I ordered from here last year it was fairly nice, today was appalling I spent £37 on food to throw away

OLD MEAT AND HAIRS! I had just moved to the area. So first time for African food here usually heading to coco portsmouth. ordered a west African beef meal, expecting a main and a side of rice. For me and my girlfriend, who was reluctant to try new foods anyway took my advice to say it’s amazing! Anyway. We’d waited over an hour and they are literally 0.3 miles away. It came with literally just rice and two pieces of beef! Even though we clearly discussed that I wanted a meal! I called back to discuss straight away after I handed over my £17. They MAN that works there was absolutely rude talking me round in circles. Me being me who is a salesman by trade can tell exactly what they are trying to do. No explanation! No sorry! Telling me they do not need to do anything! Two little bits of beef that came with the rice were DEFINITELY at least 2 days old. Hard and dry! Did not eat! Threw it straight in the bin! Called back as the man hung up on me. And the woman answered told me they will not refund the food as I had had a bad conversation and didn’t feel comfortable as someone might tamper with it! Maybe me going over the top. But still! DO NOT EAT HERE. I will be reporting to trading standards and the food regulation services! So as long as this company is trading I will not stop. I walk past on the way to work every morning and night! So I will make it my mission to not only get my money back but I will consider compensation also for my time and poor service! What else can you do when you’ve been robbed?

After ordering four dishes from this restaurant, I found separate hairs in the first two dishes. I reported the issue to the restaurant and initially requested a gesture of a new dish with my next order. However, when I found another hair in the second dish, I asked for a refund and decided not to eat the remaining dishes. The response from the restaurant was unprofessional, with them questioning how I found the hairs in my food and only agreeing to refund half of my meal costs. I was shocked by their rudeness and eventually reported the incident to the FSA. The lack of customer service and unprofessionalism displayed by the restaurant was unacceptable, leading me to consider taking further action. This experience was by far the worst service I have ever received from a restaurant or professional establishment. I highly recommend avoiding this restaurant.
