Tapas Barcelona - Southampton

The restaurant has a great ambiance with a spacious layout and a variety of seating options. The Mediterranean-inspired tapas menu could use more options like olives, ham, and cheese. However, the croquettes and beetroot grilled salad were delicious, and the sherry chorizo was a hit. The Adobo dish didn't quite live up to its reputation, but the blood orange sorbet was a standout. Prices are reasonable, with tapas around £5 and larger dishes around £10, and there are special offers throughout the day. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable about the menu, and the drinks selection includes Spanish beer and cocktails on promotion after 3pm. Overall, a great dining experience.

Been here before for my birthday and for friends and really enjoyed it....However....went last night (two couples) and was disappointed. We chose 5 tapas between 2 as advised. The chorizo was overcooked (even burnt I'd say), the squid was very small and alot of batter and not enough squid...the sweet potato fries seemed really dry. The serano ham and manchego was amazing, but that doesn't involve any cooking does it? Meatballs were ok but everything else was a let down sadly. Atmosphere was good with food music for a Saturday night, but sadly might not return for food now, unless it improves.

Very pleasant atmosphere, nice food, friendly staff

The bar has a fantastic interior design that looks very nice. I have not yet tried the food, but it seems to be decent. However, my reason for giving a lower score is because I find the prices to be too high, especially for items such as beer or a gin and tonic. Paying over £10 for a double gin and tonic is quite expensive. It is disappointing because the interior is so appealing that I would have considered returning otherwise.

I liked the menu, liked the ambience, good service. Found the prices to be modest. I'd go again.
