The Southampton Arms

Came down from London to watch the Cricket. Plenty of seating inside and outside with a car park! Beautiful beer garden to the rear and outdoor seating to the front. Good range of drinks and ciders and bar snacks. Only downside was that bar food stops serving at around 2pm which was a little frustrating. Great service, atmosphere and would definitely visit again.

What a great pub. Staff are friendly and helpful. The meals well.i had liver, and to be honest, it was the best o have ever had. The pork chop in the mushroom sauce was so good. Anyone stopping in the holiday inn needs to come here. Thank you for your company.

Best food in the area by far 5* , came across this place by chance. Food was delicious 2nd to none , Steak Pie Steak were excellent. Quality of service was unparalleled. Everyone was so friendly even got to meet the chef who came out to ask if everything was ok. Epic beer garden ample parking excellent atmosphere

All the good beers available.I went for the doombar. We decided to stay for dinner and both had the vegan burger with nice thick chips not those thin fries you seem to get everywhere. The meal was perfectly cooked and delicious. We both thought this was the best vegan burger we had had when eating out.10/10.wasnt so keen on the football screens on both sides and so it dropped a point for that. If they had tvs on one side and one quieter side it would have been 5*

Very good. We were a party of 4 with 2 dogs and had a vert position dining experience. The staff were friendly and food was lovely. We felt very relaxed. I miss Southampton pubs now that we live in Wales. We don't have this sort of pub locally to us and it's a shame.
