My mums birthday that turned out to be a disappointing afternoon table was not the table i had asked for even though had requested this previously on the phone We waited ages on our meals and at the end of it having to complain because...of a rude blonde lady who was supposedly the manager ,clearly not doing her job with absolutely no people skills what so ever

Visited this restaurant in November pre theatre visit (Grease at the Mayflower). Lovely food, very helpful staff who could not do more for us. At the time I had with me young adults with severe learning disabilities and the staff were very attentive....Overall: lovely experience and will visit again

Very poor. I went in with my teenage daughter and her friend before I took them to see a show at the Mayflower across the road. We arrived at and had ordered our food by We watched others arrive after us and get...served before us. When I asked the server at why our food had not arrived she told me that they had forgotten to put it in the system and that it would arrive soon. At the manager came and told us the delay was because everyone else was also there for the theatre and it was busy, which was clearly dishonest based on what the server told me. The food arrived at and we had to stuff it down in mins in order to get over for the start of the show. I paid quickly as the food arrived so as not to delay us. Afterwards I noticed that one of the items we ordered had not arrived and when I checked the receipt I saw we were charged for it. By then we were in too much of a rush to do anything about it. Disappointing that this happened, especially since we arrived before many others and watched them all eat and leave in good time, were offered no compensation for the experience and even ended up paying for more than we got.

Deliberately short staffed never mind Covid. To be asked for drinks minutes after arriving and then to wait over minutes for a main course is NOT acceptable. However, when the food eventually arrived it was OK. They need to pay attention to staffing...and to inform the clients if things are running late

Loved the atmosphere in here and would go back when I next come back to the area. It was a very good visit.
