Tutto Bene - Southbank

We have been here for silvester and if I could give them a zero-point number, I would have. There was no positive impression about the terrible experience we had here. that was one of my favorite restaurants when I looked at...fb that they made a 4-course dinner in ny, I jumped on it. it was very obvious to go out of the word that they were prepared sick completely disorganized and had no idea what they did. we arrived on time to our 8.30 dinner reservation, but at the arrival everyone stayed outside the restaurant while he started the evening! At 9.15 we were finally brought to our table and like all others we received absolutely no service. we were never offered a drink, and the only one was to drink something, go into the bar and get it yourself, like others. from the total chaos to see and no one knows what to do, my man offered to help and approached the manager, but he leaned my man generously offer. it was extremely frustrating and difficult to observe how the whole team totally flew. the restaurant was neither full nor busy and could have completely turned around with an organization. After we waited and have to hunt a waiter down to ask for something to eat, we finally got our starter at 10.30 the starter was ok, but it was clear for 3 guests, not 2. the night did not improve when the time went on. when the waitress asked us if we had finished our starter, I said yes, and she took a plate away and left us with dirty plates and food scrap before us. most people went into the bar and got their own drinks all night. after constant question we finally got our head at 11.40! we had no cutlery, it had to eat with this again! eating was okay, but completely spoiled by the zero service. we decided not to disturb anyone dessert (even if he had paid for it) because we were completely over it and now it is good after midnight. my man and I eat a lot, but in all my 67 years I have ever had such disgusting service in the hospitality everywhere, and worse there was never an apology or repent for the whole terrible event. BUT.....the real kicker who looked at our drinks bill this morning, they accused us of a Sunday raid on a Saturday night that went through no own mistake in Sunday. do you like yourself and never do it here, we will never again. such a catastrophe from what was popular in pastness. if they can't do it well, don't bother because they have completely destroyed every reasonable call they had in the past.

Where do I start! simply the worst service I have ever experienced. this place would make faulty towers run for his money. first, we have $160pp. $480 for 3 people arriving and drinking. we sat within 20 minutes after arrival, then ignored for an entire hour without order. we asked 4 times without answer to order and decided to get our own drinks from the bar as well as water and glasses. the cold divided plate came almost 90 minutes after the arrival. food sufficient. then followed the main course, consisting of 3 bowls of potatoes. we shared this with other tables around us, as it was exaggerated and the people at this point were hungry. (11 clock on nye.) we sat for another 30 minutes before the net came. we had to clean the plates and the glasses themselves and bring them to the counter, as we were ignored again. throughout the night we asked for the sun umbrella to be withdrawn from the balcony of the restaurant to the neighbouring restaurants so that we can see the fireworks. all the tables on the balcony have asked the same question to then say that they do not withdraw. everyone on the balcony paid extra to watch the fireworks. we then talked to the manager who seemed uninterested and then said he was going to get over him. never happened until everyone turned over the balcony to watch the fireworks and the last “bang” was heard. suddenly a full look at a smoke filled sky. about 1 hour after 3.5 hours, no dessert yet. Terrible eating, ridiculous overpriced service very slow and not very accommodating! there are many great restaurants around southbank, so no need to go back there!

Last night, I thought I was going to dinner and treat some drinks. was set immediately and my first drink and meal was received quite quickly. after that everything was forgotten. finally got the attention of a waitress and on Dessert menu and another drink. 10min later, she is nowhere to see, others are served and I was totally ignored. determined to finish my night there, very disappointed. explain to the bank what had happened. no apologies, not even an acknowledgement I had left had half a meal. what a waste of yesterday night. never again.

We used to dine here when we lived in Melbourne years ago. Obviously it has changed hands and has lost its Italian feeling. Very ordinary gnocchi ragu, the sauce was just not right, husband had a seafood pasta no flavour. I don’t mind getting...“bill shock” when you know the food was good but in this case I can’t help feeling robbed. It’s a “no” I’m afraid to say.
