We were here four times now and the fried shells are very strong, like the fish and chips. Their hot lobster rolls are the best in the area and are quite cost-effective considering the quality. We will not stop there for burgers or dogs as we can make the home, but fried food is an art form and some places have it just down. I always say I'll try the roasted shrimp, but next time not safe. When we waited for our last order, a woman got her fried shrimps and had to eat a few while she got some condiments for her order. They looked big and juicy. Next time sure! 8/29/14 We tried the fried shrimps and were great. As good as they looked. Big and fresh in crispy dough. Delicious.
Very delicious and fast. Side order of whole belly fried mussels with frits hits the point, but not the hips.
Good fried seafood. Denmo's fried seafood better than most sitting restaurants. Large fried shrimps and onion rings. Avoid their crab cakes their most disappointing articles.
Great stop on the weekend with plenty of parking on side in the back. It looks like they cleaned up/updated the back patio area to make a little larger or cleaner. (I came last year and remember it feeling a bit smaller, maybe I am wrong). Either way; plenty of seating or pop your trunk and enjoy you lunch or ice cream. I feel it is a bit pricy for the type of food offered, portions of food and for the fact that you get your own food and return your tray when done. I brought two children and between two chicken/fries meals, and a hot dog/fries with 2 small drinks. I spent about $40+. Went back up for 3 small, soft-serve ice creams and spent about $10 more. You may see some pups as people like to come after a day at the Southbury Dog Park. Overall nice little stop. Would have given 5 stars if not for the portions/prices.
Very popular local place with a lot of character! I enjoyed a hilariously named Beanie Weenie ...
