Ask Southend-on-sea

The food was really awful. The staff were nice but not very attentive. The day we went was busy ish but plenty of staff on for the amount of tables that were filled. The food was extremely tasteless and you could tell it was reheated.

I cannot thank this warm and welcoming restaurant enough for our recent and wonderful evening celebrating a family birthday. I originally booked for a small party, but the size doubled and the staff seamlessly accommodated all changes. Maria and the rest of the team provided exceptional and attentive service throughout the night. The food was excellent and lived up to expectations. The staff were flexible and able to handle any special requests such as allergies. I am looking forward to returning to this restaurant soon.

The restaurant had very few diners yet we waited a few minutes to be greeted by a waitress. Staff were not friendly but the food was very nice

Had the best dinner here especially since it was for a family of 15. The staff took our orders efficiently and we all received our drinks and meals out together which was great seeings it was such a large group. I rang a couple of times to book and reconfirm the booking and spoke to a lovely member of staff Kinga who served us that night too. She really made it easy to book and enjoy our meal and her team did a great job too. Would highly recommend it, lovely food and attentive staff.

Impromptu visit to Ask, good service and good food. Kinga was our waitress, very friendly and attentive. Charlie also served us and he was also very professional. Definitely recommend a visit.
