The Indian Chefs - Southend-on-Sea

This restaurant is home to a renowned Indian chef. If you're craving authentic Indian cuisine, look no further. We tried the methi lamb and chicken korma and were blown away by how delicious both dishes were. Even on a Wednesday, the restaurant was bustling with customers. Bibin and his wife, the owners, always go out of their way to treat us to something special and ensure we are well taken care of. We were pampered from the moment we walked in.

I highly recommend this fantastic Indian restaurant! The butter chicken was outstanding and tasted very authentic. The Murgh malai was delicious as well. 100% recommended!!

I don't usually eat Indian food, but this was hands down the best Indian meal I've ever had. The food was incredibly delicious, the service was exceptional, and I will definitely be coming back again! This restaurant is more than just a five-star establishment. I want to give a special shoutout to Leah, who went above and beyond for us. She definitely deserves a raise!

The first time here with the guys to say sure we have eaten in our time in many curry houses and we are constantly at the bad choice in and around Southend, but finally we have found somewhere that will certainly be our regular hunting. Not your ordinary Anglo-Indian nonsense, that was delicious North Indian Punjabi cuisine. So much taste without unnecessary spicy, only aromatic. The waiting staff was friendly, knowledgeable and attentive, the chefs over the open kitchen door, where everything is fresh and very cheaply cooked. Really a great discovery.

The vegetarian food here is absolutely delicious. We went on a Sunday and had the bottomless thali, everything was perfect, not at all greasy and very authentic. Plus, the service was excellent. Highly, highly recommended.
