Spartan II, which is no longer affiliated with Spartan's restaurant, also operates The Station Restaurant Bar in Naugatuck. I recently attended an event there and found the service to be attentive. The pizzas, salad, and wings we tried were all quite good. Our favorite was the white chicken Florentine pizza, although I usually believe chicken doesn't belong on pizza. When I took home some leftover pizza, I discovered that their Margherita pizza might be the best I've ever had. The bar is fully stocked as well.

Next came the lasagna, which was generously topped with cheese and tasted fantastic. I wanted to finish it all, but it was so rich that I just couldn’t manage it. The food I ordered was outstanding. However, I wouldn't necessarily say the service was particularly friendly. Perhaps that's just the style the owner prefers. After reading some negative reviews, I would advise expecting a bit of attitude and to steer clear of the grinders. Still, due to how amazing my meal was, I’m giving them a 5-star rating.
